Everyone needs to grow. Every growth is goal oriented and has to be pursued. Every goal pursuit can be fruitful only with a plan. Thus one needs to have a plan to grow. How to make a plan?

It's a simple systematic process. Remember the greatest tool for effectiveness is WRITING. So start with a pen, keeping in mind, no pen, no gain and grow without pain by using a pen.

How to go about making an action log book?

Use double page so first give numbers on right hand side pages. Next jot down the objective penned clearly and well defined stages or steps on the left hand side page and the help needed and other requirements on the opposite page. Don't forget to write also the name of persons or parties who would be helpful during action. So this becomes “content of your success book”. To be more precise and time-bound, you should also enter the approximate date of completion of each step.

Now begin your progress-journey by entering logistics or detailed working of each step like chapter of a book, elaborating process of each step and names of persons helping as well as other requirements. Make sure about availability of these resources at each stage before beginning your action and alternate resource in case a particular person or support is not available. After this preliminary study well jotted down, begin your moving ahead with action for each step.

Continue on the same lines from each step to the next and you will achieve your success in your growth coming out as a WINNER. In absence of such clear knowledge for smooth action though many start, only a few succeed.

The lethargy in documenting action is due to complacency and wrong impression that it would take time. In fact, such written action-document would not only serve as a clear guidance but also control device for being in command of your projects well planned and executed smoothly to achieve assured success. So let each one begin well, for as rightly said, “Well begun, with documented plan, is half done – and when half more is done, you have achieved your success and growth!
