It is located at Mulund East, some distance away from Mulund station. Although some collegians believe that it is located in a lonely secluded area, the lush green surrounding is very beautiful and creates a pleasant atmosphere for study.The college offers courses in arts, science and commerce at the junior college as well as degree college level. Vocational science courses in Biotechnology and Information technology and courses in accounting and finance, banking and insurance are also offered. There are post graduate programmes as well and guidance is provided for doing a PhD course in economics, zoology, chemistry, botany and the life sciences.

 A PG diploma in perfumery and cosmetic management is an interesting self- financing course. MSc IT and MSc Biotechnology , BMM are other faculties. Vaze college is very prestigious. Academic excellence has always been its forte. Cut off percentages for admission are very high. Science and arts departments are regarded as amongst the best in Mumbai. A lot of emphasis is given to research. There is a Scientific Research Centre which has been involved in several research programmes.
